Finding Inspiration To Get Unstuck and Allow Abundance to Flow

Hi everyone, welcome to episode 36 of the Health Is PowHer Podcast, I’m your host Dr. Anna Esparham, a physician with years of clinical, research, and personal experience in the field of women’s wellness - healing from pain and multiple illnesses. 

Now that we are past 2020, many of us want to make 2021 so much better and we can. It is totally within our power to make that happen & allow abundance to flow!

And a quick plug, I’m super excited about the start of our 2021 Optimal Wellbeing Facebook Live Challenge that’s free to everyone.

So back to making 2021 our year - I wanted to call attention to the saying “like calls to like”

This has really been speaking to me these last few weeks when I took an abundance and manifestation course. 

Last year, I really was drawing some negative energy inward by constantly thinking about how my environment and the people in it were...

...stressed out, burnt out, miserable in their job and their personal life, constantly fatigued b/c can’t sleep due to stress and anxiety, never getting a breath of fresh air b/c they’re drowning in family duties/responsibilities, home issues, work issues, relationship issues. 

And by putting my energy and constantly making myself available for that, I drew that energy into my life - just by constantly thinking about it! I started getting fatigued, burnt out, stressed, not enjoying work and life as much as I used to. Hence, Like calls to Like.  

So I started finding inspiration wherever I could.  To find ways where I could allow abundance to flow! I listened to podcasts, took classes on manifesting health and happiness and allowing abundance to flow instead of stopping it and getting in my own way. I started getting inspired. I read poems by Nikita Gill to get back to my authentic self and bring out the power within - her poems are the bomb by the way and she’s on instagram if you want to read some of her work. 

I started reading books from the library that sang to my soul - “Finding your own north star”, “The Untethered Soul” by Michael Singer, “The Crossroads of Should and Must” by Elle Luna, and “How to Heal Your Life: by Louise Hay.

When I changed my attention and put my energy into gratitude, thankfulness, and started asking and praying for energy, abundance, happiness, joy, and peace - I started experiencing this daily.  Once I opened myself up to the ways I could allow abundance to flow, I found them everywhere!

The outside world no longer began to affect me as much - I was creating what I desired most - feeling at peace, feeling happy in my own body and environment no matter what external circumstances. 

Go out find inspirational quotes on pinterest, peruse some of the books or books like it that I mentioned above. Start a daily practice of reading one inspirational blog post daily and journal how it makes you feel gets you closer to sustaining that feeling daily. 

JOURNAL TO CLARITY AND COMMITMENT TO YOUR HIGHEST SELF

I journaled how I truly wanted to feel - and what was blocking me from feeling that way - what was I drawing inward to myself instead of allowing myself to feel amazing and worthy and successful.

How can I maintain my energy when the world around me was falling apart especially in the era of COVID and the political state and many of our patients who were just depressed and angry with life. Through continually letting go. 

BREATHE OUT THE DISCOMFORT

Breathing the discomfort and stress and anxiety and resentment out of my body to God, to the universe, to anywhere but in you.  This is something we have to do constantly to make room for the peace, joy, and contentment we truly want to feel instead of stuffing it down deep where it percolates into chronic illness. 

CREATIVE VISUALIZATION PRACTICE

How I began feeling a little closer to  the way I wanted to feel on a daily basis was through some creative visualization/hypnosis practices after a quick relaxing meditation to get my mind-body ready for manifesting. After allowing my body to sit and breathe and surrender to the day, weeks, months energy and how it made me feel, I began to forgive.

Forgiving my mistakes, forgiving my resentments, my guilt, and forgiving others who I allowed to make me irritable or angry or upset about it. We allow our own reaction; other people don’t create that for us when they upset us.  Forgive, forgive, forgive.  Forgiving is not for them, it’s for you. Forgiving no longer allows the poison to seep; it provides you with freedom and energy and power. Forgiving is letting go of all the feelings you no longer want. 

It’s hard to surrender them. But it’s so empowering and gives you so much more energy you thought you never had. It allows healing to finally take place, so you can manifest the life and health you want.
